Today in World History students worked in groups to make posters on important achievements of the Renaissance. Students will continue working on these posters tomorrow and will present their information to the class. On Wednesday students took Cornell notes on literary achievements of the Renaissance with an emphasis on the contributions of English playwright William Shakespeare. Homework, due on Friday is an "I Am" poem in the style of either sonnet 30 (idealistic and complimentary) or in the style of sonnet 130 (realistic and slightly insulting). Poems should be neatly written and decorated. A binder check on the Renaissance will take place sometime next week - hopefully Monday. Please remember that next week we begin taking the CST and that the schedule starting on Tuesday will be altered. Also, Friday the 15th is a minimum day. If time permits, students will be given the time to begin organizing their binders tomorrow, Friday the 8th. Be sure to improve or make-up any missing assignments from the binder to receive full points on the check day.
