Select the file and click "Open" to add it to your library. It is now part of your Music Library and can be added to your iPod!

Dec. 7th - Dec. 11th

This week in World History we will be learning about the island nation of Japan. We will focus our study on the influence of China and Korea, the religious, political, and social structures of Japan, and on the "Golden Age" of art, literature and drama during the 9th and 10th centuries.


Reminder:
The quarter is quickly coming to an end - just two weeks remain until winter break! Remember to keep up with your assignments, and start preparing for your quarter 2 benchmark final. Benchmark exams will take place on Wednesday the 16th (A) and Thursday the 17th (B). This exam counts for 50 points in your overall grade. If all goes well, I hope to have the benchmark review podcast up by the weekend and students will also be reviewing information in class on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Nov. 30th - Dec. 4th

This week in World History we will conclude our study of China. Students will be learning about the important inventions and achievements of the Chinese culture that still effect us today. Wednesday and Thursday students will be taking a short quiz on the 3 ways of thought in China - Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism. Friday(A) and Monday(B) will be the INB check for this unit, students will receive their binder grade sheets on Wednesday(A) and Thursday(B).
