In World History this week, we continued our study of Medieval Europe. Students watched a short video and answered questions on Wednesday. Thursday students took Cornell notes on a short PowerPoint presentation on the Crusades and watched a summary of the information. Friday students discussed the legacy of the Crusades and the lasting effects they have had on the region and on our own history, including events like 9/11. On Monday students will learn about the Black Death, the plague that wiped out approximately 50% of the population of Europe. Next week is Spirit Week, Monday is Jersey Day - be sure to wear your favorite team's jersey on this day. We have one more week until Spring Break, students will conclude their study of Medieval Europe next week, and we will conduct a binder check sometime before Friday. Have a good weekend!
